Watching the fauna & A stay in a borda
Large mammals: chamois, roe deer, mouflon, vulture
The meeting-point is the Borda Xicos in the Valle de Incles, where we leave our hand baggage in a change for the next day. The guide will tell us how to hear the call of the capercaillie from the ideal spot. At 4 p.m. we go out in a 4x4, along a track as far as the path which will take us to the heart of a pine forest, where, immersed in a mysterious atmosphere, we penetrate into the habitat of capercaillies, great spotted woodpeckers, owls, roe deer and chamois. We take an hour and a half to arrive at the hide-out, where we can relax and eat something while awaiting the arrival of the capercaillies at the display area. In the morning we meet to return to the jeep which will take us to the borda, where we will be received with a welcoming drink and lunch.
